Delete your account
You can remove your account and everything linked to it at any time.
Option 1: delete from inside the app
- Open Cravd on your phone.
- Tap You in the bottom tab bar.
- Tap the settings gear in the top right corner.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom of the screen.
- Confirm. Your account is removed immediately and all your data is permanently deleted.
Option 2: email us
If you cannot access the app, email bill@cravd.io from the email address you signed up with. Include the word “delete” in the subject line.
We will confirm your identity and delete your account within 7 days. You will get a confirmation email once it is done.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, username, avatar, and bio
- All your Cravds (photos, ratings, notes, tags)
- Your friends list and anyone who follows you
- Your nods and saved Cravings
- Your blocked-user list
- Your push notification tokens
- Your authentication record (email)
What is retained
- Restaurants you added are kept anonymously so other users’ ratings and photos remain usable. Your name is detached from these.
- Abuse or moderation reports you filed may be retained in aggregated form for up to 12 months to help us enforce our rules.
- Backups and operational logs are rotated out within 30 days.
