Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Cravd, a social food-rating application operated by Bill Kamanzi (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using Cravd you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use Cravd

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cravd. If you are under 18 in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and accepts these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for activity on your account. One account per person. Do not impersonate others, misrepresent who you are, or share your account with anyone else.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos, ratings, notes, and other content you post. By posting, you grant Cravd a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and share your content as needed to operate the app (for example, showing your Cravds to friends who follow you).

You are responsible for what you post. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.

4. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse

Cravd has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. The following are not allowed:

• Hate speech, harassment, or threats of violence
• Sexual content, nudity, or content involving minors
• Illegal activity, including buying or selling illegal goods
• Spam, scams, fake ratings, or coordinated inauthentic behaviour
• Content that violates another person’s privacy or rights
• Impersonation, deception, or misrepresentation of identity

We remove content and terminate accounts that violate these rules. Users who see objectionable content can report it from inside the app by long-pressing the Cravd and selecting Report. Reported content is automatically hidden after three unique reports and reviewed by our team, typically within 24 hours.

You can also block any user from their profile or from a long-press on their Cravd. Blocked users cannot see your Cravds and you cannot see theirs.

5. Ratings and reviews

Ratings should reflect your honest personal experience. Do not accept payment or other consideration in exchange for ratings. Do not post ratings for places you have not actually visited.

6. Our intellectual property

Cravd, the Cravd name, logos, and the app itself are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. Do not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or build a competing product using Cravd’s code, branding, or assets.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the app (Settings → Delete account) or from the public page at cravd.io/delete-account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to other users.

8. Availability and changes

Cravd is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where possible.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cravd and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the last 12 months (likely zero) or USD 50.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), unless your local law requires otherwise.

11. Changes to these Terms

We will update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of Cravd after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
