Dubai Restaurant Guide

The Best Restaurants in Dubai, Rated Honestly

Dubai is one of the most decorated dining cities on earth. In 2025 it gained its first three-Michelin-star restaurants, and it now holds nineteen of the fifty best tables in the whole Middle East. So the honest question is not whether Dubai has great restaurants. It is which of the famous names actually earned it, and which are selling you a skyline and a table price.

The Best Restaurants in Dubai, Rated Honestly
Independent

So we did not rank by view. We built these tiers from the MICHELIN Guide, MENA's 50 Best Restaurants and Gault&Millau, then weighed them against value. The most telling fact in the city: the single best-rated restaurant is not up a tower at all.

As cravd testers rate these in the app, their honest tiers show up here too. Below the overall list, we go deeper into each category with our cuisine guides.

The short answer

Top of the list right now: Tresind Studio, Orfali Bros Bistro and FZN by Bjorn Frantzen. Below is the full honest ranking, S to C, drawn from real diner reviews.

Dubai's Michelin map, in one glance

Dubai's 2025 Michelin haul is genuinely elite. Two three-star restaurants, Tresind Studio and FZN by Bjorn Frantzen. Three two-star rooms: Il Ristorante by Niko Romito, Row on 45 and STAY by Yannick Alleno. And fourteen one-star restaurants, from Orfali Bros and Ossiano to Al Muntaha, Hoseki and Moonrise.

Two honest footnotes, because the internet gets them wrong. 3Fils is a Bib Gourmand, the value-quality tier, and not a starred restaurant, however often it gets called Michelin. And Armani/Ristorante, for all its fame, sits in the guide's selection without a star. Recognition here is earned, which is exactly why a famous name cannot buy its way onto this list.

The best restaurant in Dubai: Orfali Bros or Tresind Studio?

This is the honest two-headed answer. By Michelin, Tresind Studio wins: three stars, the first Indian restaurant in the world to earn them. By the region's own vote, Orfali Bros wins: number one on MENA's 50 Best three years running, with a star of its own.

What makes Orfali Bros the more telling pick is that it is a casual bistro from three brothers rather than a tower with a view, and it out-ranks every glossy room in the city. If you want the single most decorated meal, book Tresind Studio. If you want proof that the best food in Dubai is not about the postcode, book Orfali Bros.

Best restaurant in Dubai with a view

Here is where the honest ranking earns its keep. The two view rooms that actually hold a Michelin star are Al Muntaha, two hundred metres up the Burj Al Arab, and Ossiano, set against the Atlantis aquarium. Book either and the kitchen justifies the setting.

The famous sky-high names that carry no star and no MENA 50 Best place, like At.mosphere on the 122nd floor of the Burj Khalifa, are a different deal: you are paying for the altitude and the address. The view is unforgettable, so go once for the occasion, just know that the bill is buying the height.

Best value fine dining in Dubai

The best-kept secret of a hyper-expensive dining city is that two of its most acclaimed restaurants are cheap. 3Fils, a no-reservations counter at the fishing harbour, was the inaugural number one in MENA and still carries a Bib Gourmand, and Kinoya, number three in the region, is a homey ramen and izakaya room. Neither has a tasting-menu price.

For the scene restaurants, Zuma, La Petite Maison and GAIA are genuinely good and all hold real MENA 50 Best places, so they are not on any value list, but they are not a con either. You are paying a premium for the room and the crowd, and on that they deliver.

    Go deeper by cuisine

This is the overall list. For the honest ranking inside each category, we go spot by spot in the cuisine guides: the best burger in Dubai, the best pizza in Dubai, the best shawarma in Dubai, the best steak in Dubai, the best sushi in Dubai and the best brunch in Dubai.

Each one rates every spot S to C from real reviews, with the same rule: no restaurant can buy its way up.

    Frequently asked

What is the best restaurant in Dubai?

By Michelin it is Tresind Studio, the world's first three-star Indian restaurant. By the region's own vote it is Orfali Bros, number one on MENA's 50 Best three years running and a Michelin star too. The honest headline: the best-rated restaurant in Dubai is a casual Syrian bistro rather than a tower.

Which restaurants in Dubai have Michelin stars?

In the 2025 guide, two hold three stars (Tresind Studio and FZN by Bjorn Frantzen), three hold two stars (Il Ristorante by Niko Romito, Row on 45, STAY by Yannick Alleno), and fourteen hold one star, including Orfali Bros, Ossiano, Al Muntaha, Hoseki, Moonrise, Dinner by Heston and Smoked Room.

What is the best fine dining in Dubai?

The three-star and two-star tier: Tresind Studio and FZN for the absolute top, then Row on 45, Il Ristorante by Niko Romito and STAY by Yannick Alleno. All are tasting-menu splurges where the kitchen is the reason to book, well ahead of the view.

Best restaurant in Dubai with a view?

For a view that actually earned it, Al Muntaha at the Burj Al Arab and Ossiano at Atlantis both hold Michelin stars. The very famous sky-high rooms with no star, like At.mosphere at the top of the Burj Khalifa, are worth it for the once-in-a-lifetime view, but you are paying for the altitude rather than an award-winning kitchen.

What is the best value restaurant in Dubai?

3Fils, a no-reservations counter at the fishing harbour, and Kinoya, a homey ramen room, are both among the region's very best (MENA number one and number three at various points) and both carry Michelin Bib Gourmands, without a tasting-menu bill.

    Are these restaurant rankings sponsored?

No. Nobody paid to be on this list. The tiers synthesize real recognition from the MICHELIN Guide, MENA's 50 Best Restaurants and Gault&Millau, weighed against value, and community tiers from actual app users layer in over time.
